We provide a link to a sizing chart on the detailed description page of each of our costumes.  If you are unsure which size to select, click on the link to view the measurements for each available size.  Most costumes tend to run a little on the smaller side; so we recommend going up a size if you are between sizes.

Sizing information provided by the manufacturer is generally accurate for the measurements indicated.  However, a costume is not guaranteed to fit as if it were specifically tailored for any individual. Even though a costume may fit based on hip or waist measurements, it doesn’t mean the sleeve length or inseam length will fit every individual with the same waist measurements. In some cases, alterations may be required.

We do our best to keep a healthy inventory of all of the products that we sell.  However, sometimes demand exceeds supply and items sell out of stock.  We provide low stock notifications on product detail pages as inventory depletes.  When an item is completely out of stock, we will provide an out of stock warning.  Items that are out of stock will be made unavailable for purchase until they are in stock again.  We do provide the option to receive an email notification when sold out items become in stock and available for purchase again.

We pride ourselves on shipping orders as quickly as possible, so that customers may have their items in time for the their event or the Holiday.  Orders on our website are automatically processed and immediately sent to our warehouse for fulfillment and shipping after payment has been verified.  Orders cannot be changed or cancelled once placed, so please verify that you are ordering the correct items (in the correct size and correct color) and have provided a valid and correct shipping address.

All prices are in United States dollars (USD).  Canadian customers are responsible for any additional charges applied by from their bank due to the currency conversion.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any item ordered at the incorrect price.  We will contact you at the email address provided at checkout to notify you of such cancellation.

We always do our best to take care of customers, and that includes the return process.  We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of treating our customers fairly and reasonably.  We have long believed that when we treat our customers fairly, they will be in turn fair with us.

  • Returns will only be accepted within 14 calendar days from the original shipping date.
  • Returned items must be in new and resalable condition; in the original unopened, factory-sealed package. Any return received without original packaging, with opened packaging, or missing accessories will not be eligible for refund or exchange.
  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required to return any item, even if the wrong item was accidentally shipped to you. The RMA number must be written clearly on the outside of the package. Please fill out the RMA request form to obtain a RMA number.
  • Returns that do not have a RMA number written on the outside of the package will not be opened and will be returned to sender at sender’s expense.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ship items for return.  All return shipping charges must be pre-paid. We do not accept C.O.D shipments.  For your protection, we recommend obtaining a tracking number and insuring return shipments.  We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit.
  • Purchases that meet the above return policy guidelines will be refunded back to the original method of payment.
  • Refunds are usually applied within 7 business days (Mon – Fri, excluding holidays) from the date the returned product arrives to us.  Please note that the original shipping cost of the order is non-refundable unless the wrong item was shipped due to fulfillment error.
  • Maximum Halloween reserves the right to limit the number of returns.

Payment


Payment is due upon placing your order.  Our credit card processing service accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.  We also accept PayPal payments.

  • The billing information you enter at checkout must match the billing information on file with your bank or credit card company. If there is a middle name or initial on your card, it will need to be included after your first name in the billing information. Any suffix such as Sr, Jr, etc. should be included after your last name if it is also printed on the card.
  • Most banks have limits on how much money can be charged or accessed in a single day. If you exceed this daily amount, your bank might block your account from any further activity regardless of available funds in the account. Your bank might require you to request a higher purchase limit to complete the transaction.
  • Gift cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover, may require registration before you can use them for online purchases.  You will either need to call the 1-800 number on the back of the card or visit the card’s online registration website to register the gift card under your name and zip code. Once this information is attached to your account, you may then use your gift card like a standard credit card.

We often provide coupon codes via marketing emails, promo banners on our website, and our official social media accounts (such as Facebook fan page and Twitter feed). Please carefully read the promotion details to confirm that your order qualifies for a specific discount. The General Guidelines below apply to all coupon codes:

  • Coupon codes must be entered at the time of checkout.  Discounts cannot be applied to orders that have already been placed.
  • Only one coupon code can be used per order.
  • Coupons expire at 11:59 p.m. PST on the expiration date.
  • Coupons are subject to advertised offer limitations.

Maximum Halloween is physically located and operates in the state of Washington.  Effective July 1, 2008, Washington retailers are required to collect local sales tax based on the destination of the shipment or delivery a.k.a “destination-based sales tax.”  The retail sales tax charged to your order includes both state and local tax.

Customers who are tax exempt must place their orders with sales tax applied.  After the order is placed, you must email a copy of your tax exemption form to support@maxhalloween.com.  If either the shipping or billing address does not match the address on the tax exemption form, we will also require a signed letter of approval printed on official letterhead of the organization to which the tax exempt form was issued.  Once your tax exemption has been verified, we will refund the tax amount to your original method of payment.

Orders are typically packed and shipped the same or next business day1 after being placed. Delivery times are estimates provided by carrier and are not within our control. Please allow ample shipping time to make sure you receive your order when you need it. We cannot be help responsible for shipments that do not meet your personal deadline. Our shipments do not require a signature for delivery. If you are not home, the package will be left at your address.

We have provided a general overview of shipping timeframes below for your reference:

  • Overnight: Arrives the next business day
  • Priority: Arrives within three (3) business days
  • Economy: Arrives in 2-7 business days, based on distance to the destination

The shipping fees paid on the order reflect the charges associated with transporting and delivering your shipment. They do not include additional taxes, duties, or fees which may be charged to you by your local government upon arrival of the shipment.  You may contact the Canadian customs office for more information on duties and taxes. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your local customs laws prior to ordering.

A confirmation email with a FedEx tracking number will be sent to the email address associated with your order, once the order has shipped. This tracking number can be entered on the Order Status page to determine the shipping status of your package.  It may take up to 2 business days for tracking info to be updated on the carrier website.
